This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evening of each month at 7:00pm in alternating member's homes. They gather for Bible Study, prayer and fellowship from September through May. The first two months they will complete the Max Lucado study they had started. The new study "PERPLEXING PROVERBS" will begin in January. All ladies are welcome to attend.  For more information, contact Ann Jung at ajung@crownoflife.org. They would love for you to join their caring, supportive group as they sit at the feet of Jesus and learn of Him.

We have two groups meeting on Wednesdays at 9:30am-11:00am (Meeting Room 1) and at 7:00pm-8:15pm(Room 201). This fall our study is titled Faithful, Abundant, True!  The beauty of this group is the different levels of knowledge that each woman brings, some are new to Bible studies while others have been in Bible studies for years. This group of ladies is very busy supporting our congregation in many ways. This group meets on Tuesday mornings from 10:00am-12:00pm for various activities. They are responsible for bake sales and school supply drives throughout the year.

This committee is comprised of a group of volunteers that make and deliver meals to members of the congregation when they are suffering from an illness or recovering from surgery. If you would like to get involved, contact Jackie Corn or Kelly Scruggs at womensministry@crownoflife.org

The Altar Guild is a unique opportunity to serve the Lord in a vital and meaningful way. Teams comprised of women are scheduled to prepare the altar area for worship throughout the year. Each team serves one or two months during the year. The duties include preparation for Holy Communion and changing the altar paraments and banners to coordinate with the events of the church year. Other opportunities may include baking communion bread, sewing altar/communion linens and making banners/altar paraments.

The Prayer Shawl group crochets and knits shawls for members who need that extra touch of love and support during difficult times. Prayers are woven into these by a wonderful group of women who hope these shawls are a constant reminder of God's caring presence in their lives.  Contact Myra Borchardt if you would like to knit shawls at teddybear1942@verizon.net

The Social Ministry of our congregation has two groups that reach out to our community.
Union Gospel Mission is a united Christian organization dedicated to helping the homeless of Tarrant County. Our congregation collects sugar on the fourth Sunday of each month to help prepare meals throughout the year.

GRACE- a faith based relief agency that provides food, clothing and emergency assistance to people in need in the area. COL collects spaghetti on the fourth Sunday of every month to help stock the GRACE food pantry. Monetary donations are also accepted and then converted into jelly.  Contact Nancy Kekich at womensministry@crownoflife.org
